For next year 2010, I propose to start the organization of PGAINS. Enjoining all galeran technicians, IT workers, internet and computer enthusiasts to form a stable,united and non-political organization that would enhance Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Puerto Galera.

PGAINS, first project will focus on computerized election for 2010. We will invite pc technicians and other IT-related workers male or female who wish to work with poll automation on tempo employment with Smartmatics-TIM.

FIRST CRITERIA/QUALIFICATION:
- MUST NOT HAVE any political afilliation/connection with any local and national political candidates
- MUST NOT be a member/supporter of any political party /organization and its candidates running for the election.
- MUST NOT BE A CLOSE RELATIVE AND SUPPORTER of local or national political candidate(s)
- Should be willing not only to work with election machines but should also posses the ideals and sincerity of serving our first poll automation towards. clean, honest and orderly computerized election for our beloved town of Puerto Galera.
- He/she must not have any schedule conflict with any present job or any activity.

Applicants shall undergo strict screening/interview and examination.
Initial Requirements: updated resume with 2pcs. 2x2 id pics, voters id, and brgy. certificate

Interested applicants may submit their requirements during the first organizational meeting of PGAINS which will be announced later through this community forum.

One of my future dream project in organizing PUERTO GALERA INFOTECH SOCIETY (PGAINS) is for our community to have our own PG Cyber-Library. Where all our less fortunate student and out-of-school youth can use FREE internet for their school research, assignments and self-study.
If expanded, we can also allocate few space and PC's for our visiting tourists and they can just give any amount (as donation) for every 30 or 1hr internet use. This is to help sustain the CL's maintenance and operation.
From the CL, we hope to conduct a free internet and PC tutorial training and seminars for our youth and even to our elders. At least once or twice a month. PGAINS members shall give or devote some of their time and share their knowledge as trainors and speakers for different courses &/or topics with regards to Information Technology.
We hope that with this project, we can enjoin our members and some of our generous local and foreign contributors/sponsors for any used computer components,parts and other pheriperals that we can put together to establish the CL.
With Puerto Galera as a developing tourist destination, the promotion of Information Technology for our people (young and old) can prepare our community towards global challenges, modern medium and applied technology in tourism services.

Any pledge of support is much appreciated.
