Dangerous trees along the road to San Isidro

Earthquakes, landslides and typhoons bother the country for ages. You always need to watch out for danger. Having said that, one thing i dont understand: why do we always wait until something happens before we get active?

Yesterday, i was on the way back from aninuan i could not help but notice there are many trees, leaning dangerously over the national highway, some of them only supported by the tiny little TVNet cable.

Cant someone cut the uprooted trees who endanger peoples driving on the road? Do we need to see a accident first? Now, i am kind of sure that this would be the responsibility of the DPWH, my question is: why can’t our municipality not have them pushed to take care of, obviously public safety problems within our municipality? Can we not use our MDRRMC to take care of such problems if the regional agencies lacking common sense?
